- The most famous and fastest pirate ship within the world of Archie's pirate adventure stories, "Captain Flubberbeard's Tails of the Red Boat".
- It is not as large or well-equipped as many of the other ships described in the series (such as Admiral Spotty Blotches' ship; The Golden Retriever), but because it is painted entirely in the exclusive "pirate red" shade of paint that is only available to Captain Flubberbeard and his crew, it is by far the fastest.
- Among the more famous of Captain Archibald Flubberbeard's Red Boat crew are:
First Mate Saucy Mirabelle, the toughest and most beautifullist First Mate in all of everywheres, Marcel the lookout, who often sits at the top of the mast in the crows nest and who is not so secretly in love with Mirabelle, Sneakyninjaman Steve The Deer who is effectively invisible because he is so good at hiding, Gary The Bug who lights up at night or when he is scared or embarassed, and Edgar The Pretty Good Dane, who is only a Pretty Good Dane and not a Great Dane because his brainwiring is all goofy, but he means well and happens to be the strongest dog in the world.
