Aug 24 BRINDLETERM OF THE DAY: "BELLA PLUS BABY MABEL"

Archie's first and best Frenchiefriend after moving in with Mum plus Pop was "Bella", a Frenchie that had just relocated to Archie's home town of London, Ontario from British Columbia. In fact, the very first time they ever met happened by chance inside the Stoney Creek Off-Lead Dog Park on the very day Bella's Mum and Dad signed the papers on their new London home, and incredibly the home was only blocks from Archie's home in Wortley Village.
In the early days, Archie and Bella spent a great deal of time together and often spent the entire day at Archie's home while all the parents were off at work. Later Bella's family brought home a second French Bulldog puppy named "Mabel". Mabel's small size, even after being fully grown, inspired Archie to refer to her as "Baby Mabel". Following that, Mirabelle moved in and the relationship between Mirabelle and Baby Mabel complicated things considerably.
Bella (aka Bella-1 as there have now been several Bellas in Archie's life) has a fawn coat. She is very athletic and very fast. She loves to chase her favourite frisbee and is very attentive to her human Dad and Mum.
Mabel on the other hand is very independent and every bit as saucy as Mirabelle. The two do not always get along and need to be monitored closely when they spend time together because if left unattended, the two will almost always "go at it". Mabel has a cream and white coat and even fully grown has adorable puppy-like features which are in great contrast to her saucy demeanour.
Bella and baby Mabel continue to live in Wortley Village and although Archie and Mirabelle don't get to spend as much time with them, they always have a great time when they do.
