a stocky, North American burrowing rodent, Marmota Monax, that hibernates in the winter that is more commonly referred to as a "woodchuck", "chuck", or "groundhog".
In Pop's family, It has been tradition for generations to refer to groundhogs as bennys. No-one remembers how it got started or why, but Archie is happy to be the next in line to keep the tradition alive!
