Hello, everyone!
Since Archie has come out of retirement, we have been looking for new ways to help Archie create experiences that are SPECIAL. At one point we thought a NEWSLETTER would be fun and built the means to do that a while back, but we couldn't figure out how to make his newsletter special enough to justify all of the time and effort that went into it. In fact, it was obvious right away that running the newsletter would simply steal time away from Archie's regular stories without actually creating new content, so we set it aside.
(* until today when we finally sent our first and maybe last email to share this same story!)
We experienced similar things with Archie's Twitter and Instagram channels. They were sort of fun, sure, but Archie never really translated to those short-form platforms very well. And we have to admit that most social media platforms out there are full of toxic content that a lot of us don't even want to see, so we remain conflicted about having Archie on any of them.
What we really want is for anyone of any age to be able to follow Archie and to read whatever he shares without worrying about what else they may be exposed to - even children. That's why we originally created Archie's blog and relocated his "Clubhouse" from Facebook to SquareSpace and why we will be upgrading his website in the coming weeks.
But a NEW social media option called COMMUNITY has been created and we are very excited to announce that Archie was invited to join! The creators of COMMUNITY are being very careful about who is being allowed to join and even after being invited, Archie was interviewed before being approved! We're very proud of Archie for getting through the selection process and for being one of the first Canadian's and COMMUNITY's first canine celebrity! With that, we can now offer a really fun and unique way for you to stay in touch with Archie without ever signing on to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other typical social media app.
