a combination of the words adoption and anniversary.
the yearly recurrence of the date of a pets adoption, rescue or purchase. Typically celebrated on the anniversary of the date on which each pet "moved in" permanently. Sometimes referred to as gotchaday.
Archie's adoptaversary falls on June 28 and has since been named the official HappyHeartHugsDay.
